About me

I spent twenty two years in the armed forces, comprising fifteen years in the RAF as a ground electrician working on a variety of equipment like aircraft ground generating sets, vehicle electrics, blood hound missiles, air sea rescue launches and aircraft batteries. I spent seven years in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers working on vehicles and generators.

In my civilian life I worked on Commodore 64 computers, then ran own business building and repairing computers. I’ve worked as a county councillor for Monmouth for 18 years.

What do you enjoy doing away from work?

I enjoy walking my dog, not as far as I used to as old age is slowing me down, helping to raise pheasants.
