Claire Jones About me I oversee the services provided via our Carers Hub model in Gwent. Prior to this role I have worked for organisations such as the Alzheimer’s Society, Aneurin Bevan Community Health Council and the Probation Office. For the past 12 years my specialism has been within Advocacy and mental health supporting people have their voices heard, to uphold their rights and secure their entitlements. What do you enjoy doing away from work? Away from work I’m pretty boring! I love spending time with my family. I have a six year old daughter and an 11 year old son, so they keep me pretty busy. We love nothing more than to settle down for a movie night and eat way too much popcorn and sweets. We also love animals and so with two dogs, two fish, a guinea pig and a Royal Python to care for, spare time isn't really on the agenda! Favourite food? My favourite food, well that’s a tricky one as I love all food. If I had to pick one thing, I think it would have to be a home cooked roast beef with all the trimmings and of course the obligatory pudding (or two).
