Carers Trust South East Wales appoints Kieran Harris as its new CEO Carers Trust South East Wales is delighted to announce the appointment of Kieran Harris as its new Chief Executive Officer. Kieran joins Carers Trust South East Wales from Sight Life, formerly called Cardiff Institute for the Blind, having worked as its Director of Operations for over seven years. Previously, Kieran has held senior roles in a number of high profile organisations including Welsh Government, RNIB and The Lawn Tennis Association. Kieran will take up the CEO post in May 2020. Kieran Harris said: "I feel really passionate about everyone having the opportunity to enjoy and make the most of their lives and Carers Trust South East Wales is clearly doing that through the hard work and determination of its staff and volunteers. "My focus will be to enable them to do the job to the best of their ability, so we continue to make a huge impact on people’s daily lives and respond to the growing challenges faced in social care, healthcare and charities in general." Carers Trust South East Wales Chair of Trustees Steve Harford said: "We are delighted to introduce Kieran as the new CEO of Carers Trust South East Wales. He brings a wealth of experience to our organisation at an important time. Carers Trust South East Wales has evolved and grown significantly over the last three years and the board of trustees will be working closely with Kieran and the team to ensure we continue to do the very best for unpaid carers in our communities."
