As the coronavirus situation continues to develop at a rapid pace, we are working hard to ensure carers are supported at this difficult time. Listed below are the key services we are working to provide for carers at present. At the bottom of this page you will find all the key contact details for our services.

Carer support in our communities

We are continuing to support the carers we regularly work with in their local communities. This support includes scheduled sitting services, respite and short breaks for carers and domiciliary care. Some of our take out services have been affected due to the coronavirus situation. Our social centres are closed.

Information, advice and assistance

All our main services are open to support carers with information, advice and assistance.

Telephone/online support and resources

We can deliver support over the phone and online via email and social media including WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Links to a range of advice and information can be found at the bottom of this page.

Improving wellbeing

If you are feeling isolated, lonely or are struggling to cope with things at the moment, our teams are here to support you in a range of ways - including providing advice around wellbeing.

Shopping and prescription collections

We are able to assist carers already receiving a service from us with collecting shopping and prescriptions.

Young Carers

Our Young Carers and Young Carers in Schools services are available to young carers who may be feeling isolated or are struggling at this time either by phone or online.

Carer Friendly

Our Carer Friendly scheme is working with supermarkets, pharmacies and third sector partners to raise awareness of carers at this time and highlight the support available.
