Our story

About

We are the largest charity for carers in Wales. We provide practical services for unpaid carers and people with care needs across South East Wales.

Our services are focused on supporting and meeting the needs of unpaid carers.

Carers Trust South East Wales was formerly Crossroads Care South East Wales, providing services in the local area for over 30 years. We are a network partner of Carers Trust.

Vision

Our vision is that carers and people with care needs across South East Wales have access to the support that matters to them.

Mission

Our mission is to deliver high quality services to carers and people with care needs.

Values

Our core values ensure we work towards our vision and mission in a way we are proud of. We live by our values every day and our work reflects the values we hold as an organisation. Our values:

Open - We will always be honest and open in everything we do.
Fearless - We will not be afraid to make difficult decisions, to challenge opinions and attitudes and make sure carers rights are protected.
Innovative - We will lead by example, we will not accept the status quo, we will be flexible in our approach and we will be pioneers in our field.
Fair - We will treat everyone equally, no matter what their background or circumstances.
Trustworthy - We will place trust in our colleagues, in our partners, in our funders, and most importantly in carers and people with care needs.
